Chungus Wopsaucus
200 feet tall and visible from space. Much more than an art project , or a tourist attraction, it has become a symbol. It is a chosen motif, adopted by avengers of the slain Protestants of Piedmont. Guts to spare, spilling out for all to see. A fate shared by many martyrs. Mouth open to drink the tears of the soon to be vanquished enemies of God. In death, more powerful than in life - like the seed that dies only to be reborn as a mighty tree.
